Inhibiting MCM2 through miRNA and siRNA suppressed the proliferation of tumor cells in vitro in cancers including cervical cancer (Xue et al. 2021), MB (Lau et al. 2010), GBM (Hu et al. 2022), HCC (Qin and Tang 2004; Sun et al. 2010b), colon cancer (Liu et al. 2013) and lung cancer (Wu et al. 2018; Lin et al. 2020; Cheung et al. 2017; Zhang et al. 2015).
