To evaluate the cytotoxicity of BTZ complexed with GO in vitro, we used a patient‐derived GBM cell line (U87) and a mouse‐derived GBM cell line (GL261).[28, 48, 49] Cell counts using Trypan blue exclusion were performed demonstrating the sensitivity of both GBM cell lines to BTZ with IC50 = values of 7.2 nM and 12.2 nM for GL261 and U87‐MG respectively (Figure 3A). This evidence concerns the gene CASC3 and glioblastoma.
