By taking the intersection of the top 50 genes positively associated with TCERG1 in both databases, we found that CPSF6 and MAML1 may be involved in the development of hepatocellular carcinoma together with TCERG1. It has been reported that CPSF6 (Tan et al., 2021) and MAML1 (Wang et al., 2016) are highly expressed in HCC, and their overexpression is associated with poor prognosis of patients, and they promote the proliferation, migration and invasion of HCC cells in vitro and in vivo. The gene discussed is MAML1; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
