Four other proteins, namely Rho family GTPase 3 (Rnd3), DEAD box helicase 56 (DDX56), polo-like kinase 1 (Plk1) and ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2C (UbcH10), which are likely overexpressed in order to reduce cell susceptibility to CHIKV infection, also presented downregulation during infection as a mechanism for efficient viral replication [92]. This evidence concerns the gene DDX56 and infection.
