Despite the faster clearance rate of DPL preparations, and consequently their lower levels in tumors, DPL containing 100 TAT peptides and 300 RGD peptides showed a superior anti-tumor activity in a mouse model of B16 tumor, after a single i.v. injection of 15 mg/kg liposomal doxorubicin compared to other peptide-modified preparations and plain-PLD. This evidence concerns the gene GPLD1 and neoplasm.
