Compared with the normal rice (NR)-treated diabetes mice, the levels of the related inflammation factor, such as the serum CRP, TNF-α, IL-6, nuclear factor-k-gene binding (NF-κB) and leptin (LEP), were lower while the Adiponutrin (ADPN) level was higher in the selenium-enriched rice with a high RS content (SRRS) treated mice and the normal rice with the high RS content (NRRS) treated mice. Here, PNPLA3 is linked to diabetes mellitus.
