Compared to patients with normal/undetectable levels, those with PCT ≥ 0.10 ng/mL had more frequent ESR ≥ 50 mm/h (32/39, 82%), anemia (33/41, 81%), hypoalbuminemia (37/41, 90%), leukocytosis (11/41, 27%) and higher serum ferritin (median value: 361.4 ng/mL), haptoglobin (median value: 431.0 mg/dl) and a2-globulin (median value: 1.125 g/L) levels.
