In a study evaluating EGFR and KRAS gene mutations along with the mRNA expression levels of ERCC1, TUBβ3, TYMS, RRM1, and EGFR, it was shown that when using a personalized approach for prescribing neoadjuvant chemotherapy according to the docetaxel/platinum regimen, the response rate was 13.3% (4/30 cases) for complete regression, 63.3% (19/30 cases) for stabilization, and 23.4% (7/30 cases) for tumor progression. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and neoplasm.
