When non-hematopoietic populations were further subdivided according to the expression of one or both markers, it became apparent that the proportion of CD45−CD31−CD235a−CD200+CD105− cells was clearly reduced in the synovia of RA patients in comparison to the controls (5.02 [1.28–9.65]% in RA vs. (14.05 [10.70–16.40]% in controls, p = 0.011, Mann–Whitney test, Figure 2a).
