To assess the ability of the proportions of both populations to discriminate the patients with RA from the control patients without joint inflammation, we performed ROC curve analysis and found that the control and patient groups could be best distinguished based on the proportions of synovial non-hematopoietic CD200+CD105−cells (AUC = 0.827, p = 0.001) and non-hematopoietic CD200−CD105+ cells (AUC = 0.991, p < 0.001, Figure 3). This evidence concerns the gene CD200 and rheumatoid arthritis.
