BRCA1 and peritoneum cancer: Indeed, there is currently an ongoing Phase 1A clinical trial of CHK2 inhibitor PHI-101 (NCT04678102) which is assessing its safety and tolerability in patients with platinum resistance/refractory ovarian, fallopian tube and primary peritoneal cancer, as well as a Phase 2 single arm pilot study of the CHK1/2 inhibitor (LY2606368) (NCT02203513) in BRCA1/2 mutation-associated breast, ovarian and prostate cancers to see if it can shrink the tumours [35,36].
