In this study, we investigated the behavior and electrophysiological parameters of DAT-KO rats under atomoxetine, which has been shown to improve all three major aspects of ADHD—hyperactivity, inattention and impulsivity [15,16]—through an increase in extracellular levels of DA and NE in NET enriched areas [29,30,31,32]. This evidence concerns the gene SLC6A3 and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder.
