Nine patients (9/67; 13.4%) underwent intravenous antibiotic treatment for central line and wound infections, one (1/67; 1.5%) received antimycotics based on an intra-abdominal swab with signs of a fungal infection and peritonitis, and in eight cases (8/67; 11.9%), albumin substitutions for generalized edema were necessary. Here, ALB is linked to peritonitis.
