Similarly, in single phenotypes of PCOS patients, no correlations of serum DHEAS with age, clinical (body weight, severity of hirsutism, finding or severity of adult acne or female pattern hair loss), hormonal (serum LH, FSH, LH/FSH ratio, AMH, estradiol) patterns were found except for a positive correlation between serum DHEAS with serum total testosterone (p < 0.01) and with serum androstenedione (p < 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene AMH and polycystic ovary syndrome.
