Most existing studies of the roles of GSTs in cancer have tended to focus on GSTP1; therefore, the roles of other members of the GST family, such as hematopoietic prostaglandin D synthase (HPGDS/GSTS1), GST zeta 1 (GSTZ1), and GST alpha 1 (GSTA1), in the occurrence and development of GBM remain unclear. This evidence concerns the gene HPGDS and cancer.
