Previously, we demonstrated that the peptide [dLeu9, dLys10]TL exhibited a significant anti-inflammatory activity in zymosan-induced peritonitis as an in vivo model and reduced the level of pro-inflammatory cytokines such IL-6, monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) [43].
