Several studies report the usefulness of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers in the diagnostic setting of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) [1] and recent evidence underline an important association between CSF biomarkers such as Amyloid-beta 1-42 (Aβ42), tau and AD neuropathological changes (ADNC) [2]. This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
