Obviously, the translational vision is to adapt CAR-mediated targeting to the antigen expression profile of the individual cancer patient by selecting adapter molecules targeted to overexpressed antigens in individual cancers, such as CD19, CD20, CD22, CD37, and CD79B, which are currently used in NHL antibody-based therapies [24,25,26]. The gene discussed is CD79B; the disease is non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
