Next, among these 163 mRNAs, we selected 13 mRNAs (ADAL, ADCK1, BCORL1, GNPTG, HIPK2, LRRN3, NCOA1, NKAIN1, PLAGL2, POMGNT1, PXK, TUBD1, and ZKSCAN1) showing significantly unfavorable prognosis with low mRNA expression in pancreatic cancer, which were expressed in normal pancreatic ducts in the Human Protein Atlas. Here, NKAIN1 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
