In this study, we reported for the first time that a higher ACSL1 level exists in senescent K562 cells and increased ACSL1 promotes imatinib-induced chronic myeloid leukemia cell senescence by regulating SIRT1/p53/p21 pathway. The gene discussed is CDKN1A; the disease is chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
