Using PCR/RFLP analysis of S (264Glu3Val) and Z (342Glu3Lys) mutations, Table 8 showed that there were significant increases in the levels of BPDE-Alb adduct and the tumor biomarkers (SCCAg and CCNB1) in workers carrying A1AT mutant allele compared to workers with the wild type allele.
