Survival analysis showed that high expression of PITPNM3 predicts poor survival of skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM) and marginally predicts poor overall survival of kidney chromophobe renal cell carcinoma (KICH), ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PCPG, Figure S2, Supporting Information), while high expression of CCL18 predicts poor survival of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), OV, thymoma (THYM), and uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS, Figure S3, Supporting Information). This evidence concerns the gene PITPNM3 and hereditary pheochromocytoma-paraganglioma.
