Since 2017, several targeted therapies have been approved for AML treatment, such as FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3) inhibitor for AML patients with FLT3 mutations and isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) 2 inhibitor for AML with IDH2 mutations [5,6].
