In our study, we fed both Per2△hep and Per2fl/fl mice with an HFHFD to examine the effects of Per2 on NASH and found that fasting blood glucose (Figure S2B), serum levels of TC and FFA, and liver TC levels (Figures 5(b) and 5(c)) were lower in Per2△hep mice, while body weight, liver/body weight ratio, and IPGTT test (Figures S2B-C) were unchanged between the two groups. The gene discussed is PER2; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
