TYR and melanoma: As an alternative to personalised vaccine approaches based on major histocompatibility complex-restricted neoantigens, it is likely that a BioNTech RNA-LPX vaccine termed Melanoma FixVac, which encodes four non-mutated melanoma tumour-associated antigens (NY-ESO-1, MAGE-A3, Tyrosinase, and TPTE) will also be pursued in the randomised setting following high rates of clinical activity in combination with checkpoint blockade in the recently reported Lipo-MERIT trial [12].
