MDS patients had a significantly increased percentage of T-regulatory (T-reg) cells (0.82±0.63% vs 0.45±0.17%, p = 0.0344) and CD15-positive myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC) (2,17±5,15% vs 0,21±0,15%, p = 0.0007). This evidence concerns the gene FUT4 and myelodysplastic syndrome.
