IL-6 signaling pathway inhibitors are currently approved to treat rheumatoid arthritis (RA); juvenile idiopathic arthritis; Castleman’s disease; giant cell arteritis; Takayasu arteritis; chimeric antigen receptor T cell–complicated cytokine release syndrome; and more recently, patients hospitalized with COVID-19 (1–4).
