CCND1 and gastric cancer: Other potential IK1-upregulated tsmiR include; miR-4497, which has been reported as a tumor suppressor in squamous cell carcinoma [34]; miR-3663-3p, which was reported as a tsmiR in hepatocellular carcinoma and to be targeting CCND1 in gastric cancer [33,68]; and miR-3178, which was reported as a tsmiR in gastric cancer [69], was shown to be downregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma tumor endothelial cells and promoted the apoptosis and G1 phase arrest [70], and to represses DNA replication by repression of CDC6 [71].
