In summary, this work revealed that CCRK was significantly upregulated in ccRCC patients and that knockdown of CCRK-inhibited cancer cell proliferation and enhanced cell apoptosis in vitro, which indicated that CCRK could be an oncogene in ccRCC and may be a potential target for cancer therapy in patients with ccRCC. The gene discussed is CDK20; the disease is nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
