The most discriminatory parameters for secondary bacterial/fungal infections (p-value, ROC-AUC, 95% CI) were CRP (p = 0.0005, 0.77, 0.65–0.88), IL-10 (p < 0.0001, 0.88, 0.73–0.94), and PCT (p = 0.0008, 0.76, 0.65–0.88) (Supplementary Table 2). The gene discussed is IL10; the disease is fungal infectious disease.
