Ribosomopathies are pathologies which result from mutations in certain RP genes (Orgebin et al., 2020), with as many as 20 RP genes, including RPS19, involved in Diamond-Blackfan anaemia (DBA) (Leger-Silvestre et al., 2005; Da Costa et al., 2020). This evidence concerns the gene RPS19 and Diamond-Blackfan anemia.
