Next, we analyzed the expression of HOTAIR in clinical breast cancer patients from the GEPIA database, and the results showed that compared with normal breast tissue (N = 291), the expression of HOTAIR in breast cancer patients (N = 1084) increased significantly (Fig. 6G), indicating that HOTAIR was well correlated with breast cancer incidences, which was also consistent with the results we previously observed. This evidence concerns the gene HOTAIR and breast cancer.
