Feng et al. [110] investigated the role of TREM-1 in PD models and found that the LPS-induced upregulation of nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and NF-κB protein in BV2 cells and the downregulation of IkappaB (IκB) protein levels were reversed by LP17. The gene discussed is TREM1; the disease is Parkinson disease.
