We have previously reported the presence of subtle motor and non-motor signs of PD in LRRK2 NMCs compared to healthy controls (HCs) enrolled in the Parkinson’s Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI) study in cross-sectional analysis but indicated that longitudinal data will be essential to confirm the findings and establish trajectory and baseline predictors of progression in that cohort6. This evidence concerns the gene LRRK2 and Parkinson disease.
