The predictive abilities of Gal-9 expression levels on tumor cells were more pronounced when the status of various other immune markers were taken into consideration, particularly CD4 negativity (HR = 3.65, 95% CI: 1.06-6.25, P = 0.037), OX40L TC negativity (HR = 3.05, 95% CI: 1.04-5.05, P = 0.04), OX40L TIL positivity (HR = 2.74, 95% CI: 1.17-4.3, P = 0.015), PD-1 positivity (HR = 2.16, 95% CI: 1.02-3.31, P = 0.044), and PD-L1 TIL positivity (HR = 4.75, 95% CI: 1.1-8.41, P = 0.033) (Figure S1).
