The variables significantly related to a repeated suicide attempt during the first follow-up period were the number of MINI DSM-IV Axis I mental disorders (t (189) = −2.103, p = 0.037), index violent suicide method (Fisher, p = 0.024), LHA (t (188) = −2.322, p = 0.021), and CYP2D6 AS (χ2(2) = 14.498, p = 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene CYP2D6 and psychiatric disorder.
