After adjusting for age, sex, BMI, hypertension, DM, hemoglobin, albumin, creatinine, LDL, HbA1c, hsCRP, and TMAO, increased TML levels remained associated with significantly increased odds for HF (tertile 3 (T3) vs. tertile 1, OR: 1.93, 95% CI: 1.19–3.13, P = 0.007). Here, ALB is linked to hydrops fetalis.
