Proteins involved in G2/M transition, specifically cyclin B and CDC2, were downregulated, whilst upregulated proteins were CDK2 and cyclin A. Luteolin arrests the G2 phase in non-small-cell lung cancer cells by the inhibition of the cyclin A expression plus CDC2 phosphorylation (Ganai et al., 2021). Here, CCNA2 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
