Positive AFP readings and G-test readings were observed in, respectively, 51.9% (40/77 patients), and 90.9% (70/77) of the HCC group, while negative AFP and G-test results were found among 64% (48/75) and 77.3% (58/75) of the non-HCC groups (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene AFP and hepatocellular carcinoma.
