Our data so far shows that, in addition to the previously known tumor-supportive role of WNT signaling in epithelial cells (Jiang et al., 2014; Pai et al., 2016; Sano et al., 2016; Zhang et al., 2013), its function in CD4+ T cells contributes to pancreatic cancer growth, at least in part through promoting immune suppression. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and neoplasm.
