Although this in silico study presents substantial data that supports TMPRSS2 and CXCL10’s association with COVID-19 susceptibility in prostate cancer patients, further experiments are required for deeper understanding of co-expressed genes, protein networks and host genetics that contribute to the polymorphism of TMPRSS2 and CXCL10 in individuals. The gene discussed is CXCL10; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
