Subsequently, we confirmed that Oligodendrocyte and myelin development related genes Olig2 (a transcription factors necessary for Oligodendrocyte development) and MBP (a structural component of myelin, expressed exclusively by myelinating glia), and brain development key regulatory factors CHD‐759, 60, 61 (Chromodomain helicase DNA binding proteins 7, which is highly expressed in differentiating Oligodendrocyte) were significantly downregulated in autism, and significantly improved after AVP treatment by qPCR. Here, OLIG2 is linked to autism.
