CDKN2A and adenocarcinoma: It was measured in [24] 2017 that the immunoreactivity of both cytoplasmic and nuclear p16INK4A was absent in normal cervical tissue, while positive in CIN 1 (25%), CIN 2 (50%), CIN 3 (75%), squamous cell carcinoma (75%), and adenocarcinoma (100%) suggesting the prognostic value of p16INK4A in the management of CC.
