The least representative occurrences were: pancreatic cancer and vaginal cancer at 0.67% (2/296 each), where one patient (50%) with pancreatic cancer had a variant in an MMR gene and the other had no variant identified, while for vaginal cancer, 100% of the two cases presented variants in non-MMR genes; and thyroid and brain cancer at 0.51% (1/296 each), where the only patient with thyroid cancer presented a variant in an MMR gene, while for brain cancer, no variant was identified. Here, MRC1 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
