While c-myc is indeed one of the most common integration sites in ALV-induced tumors [13], several other integration sites in genes such as CTDSPL, CTDSPL2, MYB, TERT, MET, EGFR, TNFRSF1A, MEF2C, CTDSPL, TAB2, RUNX1, MLL5, CXorf57, and BACH2 have been also identified in ALV-induced B-cell lymphomas [14,15,16,17]. The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
