GHRH and neoplasm: Consequently, many antagonists of human GHRH have been synthesized and tested by other groups [20], and by the laboratory of one of us (A.V.S.)in recent decades [13], showing their capacity to suppress the growth of experimental cancers in vitro and in vivo, through the blockade of the stimulatory loop produced by tumor-derived GHRH and GHRH-Rs.
