Dong et al. performed proteomic profiling of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) with paired tumors and adjacent liver tissue from 262 patients; the results suggested that FGFR fusion and KRAS mutation were significant and crucial for iCCA development, and that they significantly activated MAPK, mTOR, and Rho GTPase signaling pathways [38].
