JAK2 and acquired polycythemia vera: In this study, we found that the levels of Cer(d18:2/22:6-2OH(7S, 17S)) and SM(d18:0/PGF1α) in the JAK2-mutated PV patients all increased significantly and showed a significant correlation with the JAK2 mutational burden and peripheral blood cell counts, suggesting that these two metabolites may promote the proliferation of peripheral blood cells in PV patients under the regulation of the JAK-STAT pathway.
