In an attempt for developing the novel therapeutic strategy for TNBC, we provide evidence in this study that inhibition of Hsp70 with Hsp70 inhibitors could not only inhibit cancer cell viability and proliferation, but also suppress mammosphere formation through reducing the expression of β-catenin and its downstream target genes, NFκB and Cyclin D1, in TNBC. This evidence concerns the gene HSPA1A and cancer.
