Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a subset of breast cancer, which is deficient in the expression of estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2); therefore, TNBC does not respond to hormonal and anti-HER2 antibody therapies [1]. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and triple-negative breast carcinoma.
