CD274 and non-small cell lung carcinoma: In a multicenter, retrospective study of NSCLC with PD-L1 ≥ 50% treated with pembrolizumab as first-line therapy at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, patients with PS 2 had not only a significantly shorter OS (7.4 months vs. 20.3 months; HR 0.42, 95% CI 0.26 to 0.68; p < 0.001) but also a lower objective response rate (ORR) (25.6% vs. 43.1%; p = 0.04) and shorter PFS (4.0 months vs. 6.6 months; HR 0.70, 95% CI 0.47 to 1.06; p = 0.09) [27].
