In a further study, Ramakrishnan et al. showed that muscle-invasive bladder cancer cells’ HT1376 with KMD6A (histone demethylase aimed against H3K27me3) and SWI/SNF family member mutations are sensitive to EZH2 inhibition alone and in combination with cisplatin (both in an in vitro and in an in vivo HT1376 xenograft model). This evidence concerns the gene EZH2 and urinary bladder cancer.
